I invite all my friends (invite me to be if I'm not already) to make YOUR OWN THREAD here about any experiences you've had as it relates to this forum.

Remember it's about Friends helping Friends SUCCEED in THEIR business interests.

Some terrific examples of this are all the wonderful people that volunteer to help out in any way here at ALP. You know, run contests, online help, and in dozens of more ways they EARN the respect and friendships here at ALP.

When I was "selling" I developed so many contacts (FRIENDS) that I never had to "shop" for a carpenter, electrician, roofer, you name it, because I had FRIENDS that did almost everything I needed doing. I hope you get the idea of what I'm talking about.

If you click on the Feedback and Stats in a profile in ALP you can quickly learn about who to trust, who are the REAL friends that will be "there" to help you out in your business endeavors. You will also get to know who on your friends list are all "just about the money" and getting you into their business interests for THEIR profit. That way my suggested "methodology" of visiting your friends, learning about them, and leaving Feedback ("tagging") for them becomes an easy, and NOT very time consuming (remember I only spend 2-5 hours a week "working" at eCommerce) valuable resource in your business endeavors.

Gunther: You are correct, only about 1% are wolfs in sheeps clothing, but it is nice to be able to weed them out. I still can't figure out how to respond to a forum statement, I click and click and get no where, what am I doing wrong. check out the new page on my site www.seaweed4you.com re alzheimers. Hi Bruce.

I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to reply/post to forums. This came through fine.

The Alzheimer article is quite interesting. Could be why Orientals have usually "got it together" longer. It's in the Sushi.

It's nice to know that you're a Capricorn like me. ;) (inside joke).

Hello Gunther!

I was so glad to find your post about getting to know your friends. I am all about helping people and love to do it. Of course I have what I believe to be the best products and services in the world, but everybody feels that about what they have and are doing, or maybe they should think about changing. Most of the emails and post that we get start out with almost unbelievable cash flowing our way, the best products for your health, this that and the other thing. There is no way we can take advantage of all of these great things, so most of them are dismissed without a second thought.

It is refreshing to see that somebody else actually cares about getting to know people as friends, not just somebody to buy your product or service.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

Hello my friends,
Friendship is the key to everything. I remember growing up that my father had certain places that he would shop and other places that he would stay far away from. I asked him one day why that was. He said that the places that he shopped at were places owned by his friends while those places that he did not frequent were not owned by his friends. It took me a while to figure it out, however I finally did. If my father walked into a store it meant that he was there to buy something. The owner would come up, shake his hand and ask what he could do to help. One day, my father met the owner on a sidewalk in town. The same handshake, but the conversation was different. No talk about store products, buying or selling, but rather "How is the family?", "What brings you to this neck of the woods?", anything but, "What can I sell you today?" At one point in the conversation my father did ask about a product and his friend answered him. My father explained to me that a good friend does not jam his product down your throat but will offer any information on the product if asked. Friend to friend for friends therefore is a giant step into a past where people were more likely to communicate and do business with a friend a lot quicker than with a person that wants you to know all the benefits of their products but could care less how you or your family is doing.
Recently, I received a friend invitation. It was a long explanation of all the offers that this person had to offer, at least ten different products that would have me rolling in money if I signed up now, but nowhere in the introduction did I see anything asking me if I would like to be Friends???? I accepted. When I ask people to be friends I say nothing about what my businesses or ventures are because when they read my profile it is all there. My main business is promoting Vocalists and Bands for recognition in Nashville, however many of my friends have nothing whatsoever to do with the entertainment field. If someone asks me a specific question about what I have to offer I will explain it to them, and if they have a particular product or service that I could benefit from I will ask them. Friendship is simply this. I would rather do business with a person that is concerned when myself or my wife is not feeling well, one who congratulates me if I should happen to win an award on AdlandPro Community {Such as Distinquished Gentleman of the week} Sorry about that, or someone that sends me a PM once in awhile asking how I'm doing, (such as my good friend that owns this thread), because I realize that that person is more interested in maintaining a good relations with his or her friends rather than squeezing every penny they can get from them. Friendship does not cost a penny but can generate thousands if used in the ways that it was meant to be used. If you need a service, product, or even advice, the solution to all of your problems is as close as your friends list. Our community is in a sense, the largest business directory in the world. Travel, Health, Candles, Dental care, business ventures, virtually anything at all that you need is right there in front of you. At least one friend in everyone's list has what you are looking for.

Hi Sara.

Sorry, my fault, I got busy with some other things before I had a chance to give the post it's own thread. It's actually right here in this thread right before your previous to last post. I'm just too slow in typing (one finger plus interuptions) and it's not unusual for several posts to get in between what I'm in the process of posting (like your posts did) and it confuses everyone, mostly me.

pps - Did you see the other thread here about my having "tagged" over 100 people now? ;) I love every minute of my "tagging". Especially when there's a Photo Gallery to see. Which reminds me, did you see my Foto Fun and YOU thread on this forum yet?

Thank you, Gunther, for your invitation to your forum and the birthday wishes.

Friends helping each other is a firm belief of mine. We try really hard in my forum to do just that.
