(NEW FORUM THREAD because of a "glitch" on the other thread)

Hi.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ever since my friends helped me win the Photo of the Week contest I have been trying to figure out a way to "pay back" and "pay forward" the support my friends gave me and create something for the Adlandpro Community in general.

With this forum (and thread) I think I've found a way to do that. -------

Please consider this as the

FORUM THREAD POST.

------------ (You can of course still post to the other thread or even start your own thread as it relates to this forum inviting people to view YOUR profiles and Business interests. NO direct advertising of your Business interests, let people see what you have to offer via your profile and signature.) ----------

On with the show.

On each members' (your friends) profile (bottom left on the profile page) there is a button that says "Leave FEEDBACK" that allows one to RATE a members' profile. Why not start visiting YOUR FRIENDS profiles and give them an HONEST "rating"?

Now I don't know about you, but when a couple of my friends rated my profile it made me feel absolutely GREAT. Seeing friends visit my profile, really looking through it, and leaving feedback is absolutely the essence of what Adlandpro FRIENDS being FRIENDS is all about. I immediately return the favor, visiting the profiles of those that leave the feedback. PLUS I started to visit other friends and leaving feedback on their profiles. What better way to give some PASSIVE and POSITIVE support to your friends while letting your friends know you care and have paid them the courtesy of actually looking at what they are all about?

As most of you know I'm not much of an "Internet Marketer" but I do know people and what WORKS in Sales and Marketing in the "real world". NOTHING in Advertising works as well as one to one contact and getting oneself known by "word of mouth".

My concept is simular, on a strictly Adlandpro basis, to what LinkReferral offers to their members.

Some of my friends here (they know who they are) will also recognize that it is the same concept as I present on my website via my listing YOUR business on my Associate LINKS page.

THAT is what I am suggesting you, everyone here at Adlandpro, starts doing. Not only to promote yourself and whatever business/programs you are involved in, but to also be a TRUE FRIEND by looking and promoting YOUR FRIENDS and THEIR BUSINESS'/PROGRAMS. ONE real live person (your FRIENDS) at a time.

Since I only spend 2-5 hours per week on "playing" (as my wife calls it) at "Internet Marketing", if I can do this, and promote my friends and associates along with myself via PASSIVE MARKETING, anyone can. It WORKS. It's what made me very successful in the sales and marketing field and has given me everything I will ever need in life

What's more I suggest starting your own threads about your visits to friends to promote BOTH your friends and yourself on this forum or add your post to this thread.

Think about it, I'm starting with some visits TODAY, so keep checking "FEEDBACK" ratings (via your "Stats") to see if I have (or someone else has) been to YOUR PROFILE yet.

I hope you will join me, have some FUN, learn about your FRIENDS, what it is they do, and really NETWORK for everyone's benefit.

Just think of the potential. Perhaps even another contest, based on BEST rating comments etc., could be generated, most visits, highest ratings, so much PASSIVE and POSITIVE marketing with very little time spent at really supporting your friends while getting YOURSELF (and your business'/programs'), via your Adlandpro Profile, really seen as well.

My record is 100% of the POTW being a friend of mine. Can I "pick" my friends or what?!?! :)

Adelina and Steven, I'm truly honored to have friends such as you here at ALP.

You and all my other friends here are the reason that I have decided to make Adlandpro one of my primary online Business Interests. Let's face it, without getting to know REAL PEOPLE there'd be no such thing as "sales and marketing", eh. ;)

Thank you for the invitation to post in one of your forums. The above information is something we could all benefit from but time is a handicap for most of us. I will try to do better in learning more about my friends.

One of the things we started in my forum and are continuing for this year, is to light a candle of love and keep it burning. I have added candles for certain people as I learn of their needs. I hope you will come and post your own candle, either dedicated to someone or just to keep the light burning.

Brad West & I have been trying to help people understand that you must show people that you are a real person & You must be willing to help someone else.
We have sent out mass emails (at our other community) & are starting to get responces that people want to know how to market without just slinging ads.
You may like to look at Brads forum here at Adland. I think you would have great things to add.

Peter Fogel, my very best friend and partner and I, have created a community geared towards internet marketers. We sincerely hope upon your return you will grace us with your presence.
