Thanks to my friends

I will not be online much any more.

My family and I will be spending the majority of our time praying, while it is still legal to worship our God in Heaven.

And even though it may become illegal in 2009 to worship God, we will continue to do so.

When Obama sends his troops around to stamp us all with the three sixes, we will refuse as will the millions of other true Christians that voted against Obama.

And although we will lose our lives, we win regardless. We will go to a better place and be with our Heavenly Father for the rest of eternity.

I will try to check in from time to time, but don't hold your breath because it may be few times and far between.

To all of my friends, thank you so much for your friendships, you have enlightened my life in many ways.

It is a very sad day for America, the once beautiful and free Country is no longer. I am joining you in prayers as I will not renounce my God for Allah. My faith in the Lord remains untarnished.
I feel so sad for the brave men and women that give their lives to defend our freedom to be taken away by this vile person.
He brought us to it He will bring us through it.
You have enlightened my life in many, many ways. You have shown me what true friendship really is, thank you.

Do not let your mind slip into defeat. Your hearts are right and you give to each other a great deal of love generously. We must maintain our love and care for each other. Keep our hopes alive! Some hard times will surely come, but I know that each of you are strong people. You believe in good things. You believe in the right things.

There may be a reason God has allowed the country to go this way that we can understand at this time. As my good friend (yes friend) Sean Hannity always says, "Let not your heart be troubled". We have let our guard down with morals and ethics in this country and now we must rebuild them.

Here are some things that I am suggesting to my family and friends to get through this "change":

1) Really get into prayer! Start prayer nights with your friends.
2) Go to church! Study His word and spread it!
3) Get healthy and stay healthy. Think, sleep and eat healthy!
4) Keep love alive in your family and circle of friends. Take care of each other.
5) Be kind to everyone EVEN if they are not to you.
6) Cherish your time and use it wisely. You'll have to think about this one.
7) Become a millionaire several times over.
8) Be generous and take care of widows, orphans and the children.
9) Take care of your future. Do not depend upon anyone else for anything.
10) Be active in your community. Help make sure that the morals and ethics that you believe in are being followed by officials.
11) No matter what is going on, always love yourself. God does!
12) Be sure and HUG someone every day.

Hello Monica, Gaby & Joe,

I read your posts and have to say I agree with Joe but in all truth it goes much deeper then that.

Difficult times are in store not only for the USA but the whole world. This is a time for the strong to stand up and fight for what it is right and for their beliefs.

It is definitely not a time to give up hope and surrender. In times like this the tough get tougher and fight the good fight for right and justice for all.

In my opinion BHO has an agenda that isn't what he was "preaching" throughout his campaign and so many (to many) believed. The surprises will not be long in coming and all those that voted for him will live to rue the day they did.

We all have to be even stronger now then ever before.

Hi Monica,

Thank you for posting this thread. I share the same feelings with all of you. I can see the path that we are headed for and it scares me, but not for me, for my husband and children. I will continue to pray and I ask that all of you will pray for them and all the children out there. I want my children to develop a close relationship with our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and not just view as someone to study and think about on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Lets just say your theory is right, maybe God wants to see who really is the christian that claims to be one. God does not want any ill feelings in ones heart. Maybe this is the test for all Christians, God knows whats in our hearts, thoughts and minds.

God does not want us to speak any ill feelings or have any unpure thoughts. From now on I am going to only have positive thoughts, When I die I die alone so I am not going to take on the sins of others or let their sins upon me. Also it says you should forgive others sins and make right your own.I know I will be doing that.

So you are right start praying for your soul and your familys soul.

Yes, it is sad for those that are aware of what has just happened to our beloved America. I agree with Joe and Peter. Our faith is being tested,stretched to its limits. Now is not the time to falter and give up our faith , it it now the time to fight, stand strong and resist the enemy. Stand and fight that is what made America strong and free. Not crawling into a hole and dragging in the earth around you!

Monca since you are not here, not sure why I or any others would bother to be posting here.

There are several ways to avoid conflict. One is flight and one is fight. To leave means you no longer support us and our ventures. You won't be promoting us as you are not here.

I hope you like some others who agreeded with you will be right back. I see most refrained for about an hour and then took up residence here again. The only way to correct a wrong is to stay active.

Thank goodness, Martin Luther King and Mahad Magandu did not go to their closet and hide.

While you are away, you might refuel your mind by reading the great works of people like I mentioned.

Is this gloom and doom about the Pres. election of Obama? I must be missing something. I was suprised to hear a bit of history when a commentator said that the first 14 presidents could have owned Obama as a slave.

Didn't say that he was, it's a quote from the media, but I think the point that was made, as one can expect from the media, that this election had a hint of racial issues, which I think is unnecessary and unfortunate.

I know Rudy, and that is the point exactly. Labels (in my humble opinion) are more destructive than constructive, creating divisions where none are needed.
It is revisionist history to have that statement in the media as most people seem to take their history from headlines with no research into what has been said.
It is an interesting topic.

For those of you that think this is about Race, you need to get on your own knees and pray.

This is far from a racial issue.

This is a man who has made a MOCKERY of 3 chapters in the Bible. Deutoronomy, Leviticus (sorry about bad spelling) and the New Testiment with the Sermon on the Mound.

This is a man who has accidently slipped up twice publically saying "My Muslim Faith"

He has made the smart-elec comment about people clinging to their 'religion and their guns'

He wants to take away Gun Ownership and Rights. If someone tries to break in on us, what are we going to do?
Just sit back and do nothing while they steal every thing in our house, rape our daughters, and batter or kill our family? He is taking away our self-defense. Sure we can have a butcher knife, a baseball bat, etc... but that isn't going to stand up to the illegal guns that the smart burglars have bootlegged over here and traded their dope for.
He's not hurting the bad people, because they have 'connections'. He's hurting the good people.

He believes it is ok for a woman to carry a baby in her for 6-9 months then have it delivered by a Doctor who immediately stabs it in the head with a pair of scissors.

Just to enlighten you all who have no clue, there are millions of Christians in the United States.

ALSO, Muslims do not like Christians. They have been trying to kill (murder) Jews and Christians for hundreds of years.

Anyone that is so naive that they cannot understand what this Country is coming to, or what this post is about, does not need to be posting here, but instead PRAYING TO GOD IN HEAVEN about what is going on.

Good to have some idea clairfied, thanks. Let's remember that this Pres. is not, nor can be a dictator because of the way our politics is set up. I agree that he needs to watch his words and put his mind in gear before he lets out the clutch of his mouth. Specifially, today I heard him say he would "kill Binladen and Al-Qaeda" then he rephrased it to say the he would bring them to justice.
People who go to churches and temples and claim to be religious but own guns should not be anxious, he alone is not going to ban owning a gun and put 666 on your forehead.

I am not trying to spoil any one's ;celebration. President Elect Barack Obama, has brought unity to America. He ran an impeccable campaign. But, you have to ask yourself "What do I really know about this man?" What does he believe in, other than change? What is his message? Yes We Can?

Consider this - he spent nearly a Billion Dollars to secure a $400,000.00 a year job. 4x 4 you wind up with 1.6 million dollars in compensation. If he serves a second term then it is 3.2 million dollars of gross income. Does this sound rational?

Exactly what hope does a poor, poverty stricken ghetto child, truly have of duplicating this achievement?

Look friends, and I know many of you may not believe you are my friends. But you know who I am, where I stand, have a good sense of my moral character and most of you know me as a straight talker, right or wrong and some know me as a humble and sincere person. There is no question where I stand on a subject. I sincerely hope I am wrong about what I believe to be true about this man and if wrong you know I will apologize and for your forgiveness.

If what I believe is true, we have made a grave mistake and by talking about it the way I do, I am placing myself and my family in grave danger. However, someone has to try and open eyes and help us prepare for the possibility, that this man is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Once again I pray I am wrong. But there is a preponderance of evidence, unanswered questions and a air of cover up, complacency and complicity on many of our so called leaders within this nation.

I ask that you watch the video, follow the related videos. Look at the many forum posts, blog posts and all the power you now have at your finger tips to find out all you can about this man. Before he takes the oath of office.

Now some information has already been hidden. The vaulted copy of his birth certificate has been ordered locked up. Even though it is incumbent for every candidate to the office of President is required to produce. He has gone to great lengths to make sure we never see it, along with his college transcripts and other various records.

He has know terrorists as friends that helped launch his political career. Sat in a church for 20 years where the preacher GD's America, has received the blessings of many known sworn enemies of America.

Up until the DNC I would have voted as I have in the past four elections, for the democratic nominee. I have no love for GWB, I respect the office just as I respect the office today, therefore BHO has that respect. However the respect I have for the office does not mean I have to respect the person or blindly follow to the detriment of this great nation or the world.

There is much work to do over the next two years, if the good lord is willing, to rectify this mistake and put in place the checks and balances that have gone off kilter in this election and the past 8 years under GWB. I have heard the slips of tongue he has made regarding his Muslim, oops Christian faith. Unlike many, I don't believe it was a slip of the tongue I believe he became too comfortable and gave us a look into the real man.

Please do your research, we shall see if he can keep his promises. I am eagerly awaiting for the wealth spreading. I have my eyes on one of John McCain's houses, myself. One of those places in a remote part of the US, with a source of water and enough ground to raise a garden and a few head of livestock. Far away from the urban sprawl.

Monica, it ain't time to be burying your head in your bible waiting on the last days. You have children to defend and provide them the knowledge and resources to survive in this world. We are a strong and proud people, filled with the spirit of life, liberty and justice for all.

Now take a few days, sort yourself out and then let's roll up our sleeves and provide a real future for our children and get to work on Real Change. This nation was led the wrong way for 8 years, but going back 232 years to a tyrranical society with one religion and all others be damned is not the legacy, I will leave for my children, grandchildren ans generations to come.

Years ago my dad told me that we always need to get behind the new President, regardless of who we vote for. He told me that after Election Day, we all go back to being Americans first and party loyalists second.

His advice to me then is just as important today as it was then - maybe even more so.

President-elect Obama will need our help to end our addiction to foreign oil. The answer to this problem is not about one idea or one individual - it’s about all of us coming together to solve this problem.
