As I am in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving in October but as this poem reminds us, we have so much to be thankful for.
I spent a lot of years with my grandmother when I was a child and she had all these wonderful sayings. The older I got the more I realized how profound that they were. A couple of them were: "I complained that I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet"., "The older you get, the older old is!" My grandmother was a treasure. I wish that more children had someone like her in their life.
