Hi Jill,

Thanks for a great post! It fits you to a T!!

I always knew daffodils were special (they're my FAVORITE flower), but the story you shared gives them added dimension for me. Reminds me of my grandma's words "Bloom where you are planted".

I'm making a copy of this to put up on my bulletin board in my office both of them (my day job & my home office).

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lorraine

Thanks Lorraine,

I am so glad you liked the story, and you just brought back memories of that famous grandmotherly statement, "Bloom where you are planted." I think I had nearly forgotten it, but I sure did hear a lot of it....makes me smile Smiley

Enjoy your wall postings Smiley Jill

Dear Jill
What a Magnificient story I am blessed for your kindness in sharing it again.

The great Earl Nightingale once said
" Our Attitude toward life determines life's Attitude towards us."

Which was one of my mentors for many years prior to God calling him home.

I have spent many years teaching that very topic and in all those years I have yet to see a positive attitude combined with persistance, alive with passion fail to reach success.

Thanks for sharing The Daffodils it has been many years since I heard that.

I will leave you with these quotes from T.S.Eliot
"Only those who will risk going to far can possibly find out how far one can go."

Zig Ziglar
"Others can stop you temporarily- You are the only one that can do it permanently"

Napolean Hill
Persistence is to the character of man as carbon is to steel.
and
Effort only fully releases its reward when one refuses to quit.

With Warmest Regard
Respectfully
