Hi My Dear Sister Carla,

It’s so wonderful what you are doing to get people together to help others! It’s priceless! Thank you! We know that God works marvels.

Last year a son was born in my nephew’s family in Ukraine. In ten hours after he was born, the boy was put in intensive care unit, he was on ventilation, and his brain was swollen.

Doctors thought that the baby was not going to survive. All people who knew the family, prayed for the boy and for the family. We were saying our prayers here, in America.

Thank you, God for your wonderful work! The baby boy will be 1 y.o. in April, he is healthy and full of joy and energy! He brings a great deal of happiness to everybody!

There is nothing impossible with our Lord!

Also, I wanted you all to say a special prayer for Lisa and her family PLEASE :)
They are going through financial difficulties and her daughter Tiffany sprained her ankle. Lisa has faith that God will provide but going through the trials is not easy. I am praying that the Lord will send His Spirit to guide and comfort her.
Alot of adlandpro members are going through difficulties financially and physically so I am asking God to intervene in their lives and manifest his salvation and healing also supernatural joy. Thanks everyone for your agreement in Jesus' name:)

PLEASE KEEP MY MOMMY IN LAW IN YOUR PRAYERS! My 91 year old mother in law Estelle is extremely ill. My husband has been trying to get ahold of her all day. He drove over to her apartment and could not get in. The cops got the door opened and she had fallen in her bathroom and could not get up. She fell and has been on the floor all day - I guess she is semi conscious. they think she maybe had a stroke. Hubby is coming to get me and we are going to the hospital. PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Thanks Thomas and Pauline and eveyone. Our prayer request has changed. My husband's mother ESTELLE died very suddenly after being taken to the hospital late last night. My request is now to help hubby - his sister - grandchildren and Great grandchildren and myself to help us deal with our grief.

Everything but my family is on the back burner right now. I pray God wll help me stop my crying and be strong as I have to help support my husband in his sorrow.

I hope your prayers will be for all of the above. Thank you all very much.

Pat did send me an email and said she's doing better and prayers are being answered. Thanks so much!
My former pastor and his wife are in need of prayer that God will provide their rent this month. The church decided they can't afford/or don't need them anymore. They are in a three bedroom home and already are considering other options but they are both over 70 years old so it's not easy for them.
I considered asking for funds for them but I know God will provide somehow.... He always does!

Luella May needs our prayers and I sent out a direct contact to see if anyone could take her dogs. She is having to move and doesn't want them to go to the pound. She is in Mississippi so the person would have to be nearby. Keep her in your prayers.

Also keep my Father in your prayers since he is ill with Parkinsons and is hanging in there but it's not easy on him or my mom.

A letter from Leslie Combs in adlandpro :

Hi Carla I would like to request that I myself be placed on your prayer chain. My husband, Chuck Combs, abandoned me with no warning at all on Dec 29th, 2007. Since that time nothing has gone right. He left me with a high mortage, utilities getting shut off, my car needing repair among other things. I am also diabetic and had to hospitalized on Feb 11th for diabetic ketoacidosis. My blood sugar was up over 700 and I got a rapid heartbeat among other things from this incident. I am presently being forced to file for Medicaid disability, as I have no insurance and essentially no income. The stress of all of this is keeping my blood sugars out of whack and my heart beat and heart rate don't seem to be getting any better. Thank you for your prayers in advance.

I have a prayer request. My cousin, Kent Dentel, has been diagnosed

with terminal cancer of the lung, liver and bone. He is so frail that

doctors will not do radiation. The only treatment they are recommending right now is a morphine patch for pain.

Please keep him in your prayers.

From the window seat, at 35,000 feet above the earth, you see the other
side of the clouds. Even though it is a cloudy day down below, you can
still see the sunrise and the sunset. You see entire towns. You can see
the natural and man-made boundary markers. You can see what is beyond
the bend in the river. From the window seat you can see where the road
leads and where the road has come from. You can see beyond the normal
horizon.

From the window seat, you can see what is beyond the dense forest. You
can't tell if the wind is blowing. Mountains look smaller from the
window seat. You can see the reason for the curve in the road. In the
darkness from the window seat the lights are easily seen.

With a view from the window seat, you can see some areas of the
landscape that are neatly arranged, and other areas that are ragged and
random and disorganized. You can see the areas that are alive with
water and vegetation, and the areas that are dry and barren. You can
see farmland and forests and cities and communities and neighborhoods.

From the window seat, trains and automobiles look like toys. People, if
you can see them at all, look like ants; and houses and buildings look
like pieces from a monopoly game.

The window seat gives you a different perspective on the world and on
life. Life looks calmer, more peaceful, and things look more organized
from above than it does when we are right in the middle of it all. In
some ways it appears to make more sense from the lofty vantage point.

From up there, when we are securely buckled into our seat and unable to
move about, decisions are fewer and not so complicated. When we observe
life from above, we seem to escape the frantic pace of life. We can sit
calmly, knowing that most of what goes on in the world at that moment
is totally out of our control and is not our responsibility. When we
sit in our window seat, totally dependent upon the pilot and co-pilot
to get us to our destination, we are reminded that God is the One who
will get us to our ultimate destination.

With the window seat view, we are able to pause and observe life from a
different perspective. It can help us to better understand why Paul
wrote:

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on
things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set
your minds on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:1-2

Hello Prayer Warriors!!!!

I bring this request at a time where the world is full of hate and manipulation and control and fear. I know the Lord is at work with His mighty love, but so is the darkside. The darkside is busy causing millions of people to be throught with worry about their safety and continuance here on this earth. Would you please read this forum and start sending out the prayers that create so much blessings?

Thanks so much! I refuse to debate with anyone politically. Satan or as you say the darkside does have power in this world but only what God allows! We do need to fight him Spiritually as it says in Ephesians 6. I will be in agreement with you . Jesus has the victory!

Jesus threw the demons out of people and there were great joy in the cities!

The Holy Club

Charles Wesley and two friends began a small Christian group at Oxford University in 1728. John Wesley, who had already graduated from Oxford, returned the following year as a tutor and assumed its leadership. Oxford students made fun of the group, referring to it as the "Holy Club" or "Methodists."

The focus of the Holy Club was on religious self-discipline. Exhorting each other to live piously and do good works, they were motivated by the belief that they were working for the salvation of their souls.

George Whitefield was the first Holy Club member to question their practices. His solution, however, was to try to become a new creation through further extremes of self-denial. During Lent in 1735 he only ate a little course bread with tea. By Holy Week he was so weak that he could not study or even walk up a flight of stairs. After hitting bottom, he later wrote, "God was pleased to remove the heavy load, to enable me to lay hold of his dear Son by a living faith…"

On May 5, 1735, Whitefield wrote a letter to John Wesley, attempting to share what had happened to him. It would be three more years before the Wesleys found His gracious arms.

Have you ever found yourself trying to earn your salvation? Salvation is a gift to be received from God, and there is nothing we can do to earn it. Good works do not lead us to Christ—it is out of our relationship with Christ that good works flow.

And ask yourself "who can be completly confident about his or her salvation? The person who has accepted God's grace just as those in Acts 2 and in Colossians 1:22-23; Hebrews 3:14. Confidence rests on what Jesus has done. If we are responding in faith to him, it is his work that saves us-not our performance. God_bless you and your familys! Thomas}
