September is here! The children are getting back to school and all the fall colors of Nature are beginning to show off.

Today, the First Day of September, we celebrate Labor Day in USA and Canada. For this month, we welcome a fresh approach to Nature and its changing faces.

Expressions of Nature is presenting Poet for the Month and looking forward to enjoying the month with yet another of our Adlandpro Poets.

Many of you have already gotten to know this talented poet and Network Marketeer and for those who have not we are happy to introduce him this month.

Mattias Kroon

I am Mattias, part-time networker and poet from Jonkoping, Sweden. I have played synthezeizer in some bands in my youth. I grew up in a small society in the southern of Sweden.

In school I also got interested in chess and played that for some years. That interest has followed me later and it has enrichened my intellect.

I have studied at some bible schools where I learnt a lot of important spiritual truths. The Lord has taught me how to use His wisdom in many ways and it is here where the gift of poetry appears to have its place.

I discovered this gift a couple of years ago and I have studied it mostly online. Now, when I work online with advertising, I´m glad that I also can present my poetry to others.

LET'S READ SOME VERY GOOD AND INSPIRING POETRY!!

(This first poem is so descriptive, it does not need pictures - only those formed in the mind. Which is true of all Mattias' poems. We are adding only a few.)

Ask the Mirror

Mirror mirror there on the wall!

Tell me who´s the most generous man in the town.

And the mirror told me it wasn`t a man, but

a little boy.

Mirror mirror there on the wall!

Tell me who´s thrown a stone to crush you?

The mirror answered with a broken heart that it was a man

who couldn`t stand the truth.

Sweet sweet little lie, how can you become a truth?

The lie answered me that it has to fool someone

with a cruel tool, to become a truth in all its betrayal.

Wall wall there how can I get over you?

The wall told me that the lack of understanding

will make me a stiff stone on the other side.

But, if necessary, even a stiff stone can make a speech too.

Cruel cruel world of today, when are you gonna

wake up to realize your real needs?

And the world answered me that the human race must

repair the mirrors, break down the walls, and

stop telling lies to become alive again.

If you can imagine

Can you imagine a sky without stars?

Can you imagine a sea without water?

Well, I can imagine a black hole in the universe

which is like the emptiness, some has got in their hearts

and as the dry desert, only with mirages.

Tell me, are you longing for a journey in the space?

Are you going to sail the seas, to find some kind of trace?

In any case, I can imagine you with a longing heart

as the birds are longing for flying south

and as the forest is longing for some trees to grow.

Will you pick down the stars for me?

Are you so thirsty, that you can drink a whole sea?

Well, I can imagine life coming to your heart

but I can also imagine living water coming to your soul.

Will you walk on water in faith?, and will you whistle with your mouth?

Let us put Him first for He has valued us

Let us thank Him, cause He is worth it!

When He cried on the cross, it was for us

When He died, he knew He was to rise up again!

Listen to the voice of eternity and hear the echo

True, true are the wisdom it gives us

A beauty in its shapes and forms, revelation is to come

Let us open our eyes to see the colours of truth

See Him in honour and glory!

Before you fall asleep tonight, give thanks to Him!

Mattias Kroon, our dear Poet Friend, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this month has been and reading your poetry. Reading the comments made by others and how enthused everyone is with your talents.

I appreciate all your works here and the time you devoted to bringing us some really good reading. I pray you continue in your endeavors to be published and we all get a chance to read your first e-book!!

As this month began, I want to repost one of my favorites:

Ask the Mirror

Mirror mirror there on the wall!

Mattias, when I first read your poems, I was in a hurry to post my congratulations to you for being Sara's September Poet. I know better ... poetry takes time to read and then digest what the poet is saying.

Dear Sara,

I hope you and all American and Canadian friends, have spent most amazing Labor day.

September brought us a new poet and yes, great one!

Thank you Sara, as always - you did a marvelous job!

Mattias - great to meet you!

After posting, I`d like to extend my invitation with hope to see you at my friends list/

I like your poetry very much. Some of profound questions have passed through your heart and soul, and came out with nice and deep reflections about them.

Mirror is also very often in my focus. I have learned from Branka that all people, who are or who were, in any kind of touch or relationship with us, are MIRRORING our own thoughts about ourselves : our own anger, fear, appreciation or luck of it etc ... Trying to figure out if this is truth, I used to do some exercises .... and could realize this is truth. That have helped me a lot to be much better and confidential to myself .... and all others became the same !

It already was too much written, but this nice poem has inspired me to mention this.

I will be back, checking if any new poems will come.

Finally after a few days I could get in again; yesterday I had some more time but I got very frustrated as Adland rejected me over and over again :-(

... but ... today is another day :-) ... and fortunately I'm in and here with you - I'd need a jumping icon :-D

Sara, as usual you managed to put together another wonderful featuring thread; I don't know how you find them - most of the time?! :-) ... with Mattias you were a bit lucky as he was the one to provoke us to think and write stanzas - at least at his place I did my first and only trial; sorry I didn't have the time to go back and post more, things getting crowded for me lately!

Kevin, how nice to see you here!! We are honored and appreciate your post.

My love for the Arts was the desire of this forum from the beginning. We started with music but soon discovered that one was pretty much taken already. Of course as an artist, I would have chosen Artwork but that also was being handled very well by Rose & Team. It was with Nature we decided to go and poetry could not be written without some love and appreciation of God's World of Expressions. It is very gratifying to feature this talent here at Adlandpro.

Good stuff, my friend and fellow Scandanavian! I am an American Finlander. Both of my parents were from Finland. There are a lot of Scandanavians in northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. I grew up in Wisconsin.

Your picture posted in this forum reminds me of where I grew up. It looks like my own yard.

Sweden is very special country for me for several reasons. My high school here in Belgrade is under patronat of Swedish Ministry for Education, my favorite sweet is Swedish pancakes ... and now I have a pleasure to read verses from one Swedish poet.

And here I want to post another one describing the difference between The Good People and the Wicked ones:

The Good and The Wicked

Have you seen them?
Have you met them?
They smile to you
But do they like you?

I trust them, cause they don´t lie to me
I don´t fear them, cause there are no reason to
They are called the Good People, with good reason
And with a bright smile I reckon them, in this season

Can they ever be satisfied with anything?
Do they think one single positive thought?
Here they come, The Wicked with their pride
Gathered towards The Good People in the next tide

I love them, cause they are brave and merciful
I appreciate them in their movements of joy
True, true is the song as we can hear it
I always want to sing with them, to have the light lit

The world belongs more to the righteous than to the wicked
The riches more to the humble than to the greedy
Generously I want you to have a prosperous year
Now, go on with love, compassion and not fear

Mattias, Very nicely put.

Sometimes we reject those who could be our best friend or ali because we build up a wall of fear.

I also want to point out that we are to love the loveable and those not so loveable. Jesus even went so far as to tell us to pray for those who misuse us and to give more than is asked of us in showing love to others. Hard to do but we Christians do strive toward those ideals.

No, not too shy, but I work on my poetry as much time as I have.I´m lead by God in what I am doing and can´t take several steps at a time, but must take one step at the time!

Here is another one, with many metaphors.Open your heart and it will say you something.

Remember that the message isn´t that obvious at the first glance always....when it comes to poetry.

What could fear do to a man of integrity?
What could love do to a woman of style?

What could a change do in a time of worries?
What must you listen to when the echoes have tuned out?

Take it to your heart and whisper I love you

See the stars are moving to a lighter place
See the moon is going to dance tonight

Take your prayers to the Holy One

Feel the touch of a child´s embrace
Hear the sound when she is crying of joy

Take it with your dance tonight

Do you think you will understand it all?
Seven seals of mystery have been opened now

Recieve the secrets in time and space

What could love do when we listen to wisdom?
It could do everything and a little more

I am as I am and I love you all!

Dear Mary, thank you so much for posting. If only more of us would use the example set by Jesus in our daily lives we would have a better world.

Many times (even if it is difficult) I will say a prayer for those who have hurt or offended me. I hope others will do the same if ever I would unintentionally hurt or offend.

Mattias, thank you for this poem. I surely wish some of the people posting so much ill will toward others would come here and read your poem.

We are all in this life together and what we do affects others' lives as well. To do a good deed gives back to us but condemnation leads to discontent for many others.

In my own forum I have explained what an acrostic is and that caused some very interesting poems to follow there.

Hi again!

Now to a new poem.

I could confess, I am as honest as my poetry!

Opened eyes

I saw it as I wanted to see it
I turned away from my selfishness

I embraced the path that was narrow before
Things became clear

Could this give me more wisdom?
Maybe we have had opened eyes too seldom...

I felt it when the smell came from above
I reflected with compassion, grace and love

If we want to climb the mountains we are brave
To practise wisdom in the right way is to save

I saw it in the right colours when it had turned to grey
Don´t be too quiet, just make clear that they hear what you say

Opened eyes in a time of confusion and vanity
With true friends my heart is filled with joy and clarity

Don´t close your eyes, just take a deep breath
Chose wife and life, don´t talk to the bringer of death
