Good Friday Morning to You!

This is something that has been tugging at my heart to write.

At first, I just wanted to sell you a new product I discovered but thought it sounded kinda silly. However, here goes:

"This is a new ointment that is now on the market and believe me it works!! The directions are to apply in small amounts maybe once a day for mild symptoms. However, if you have a sudden outbreak, you may want to apply at least 3x a day. Dear Friends, I got some of this stuff and since my case was so severe, I applied in ample amounts several times a day!! It worked!! I now have ALLIGATOR HIDE!!"

Now for the reason of this post. Shirley Caron has had a forum thread going for the past month. I posted there a little while ago and have copied the post here also. I don't want to convey the idea that I am 'hiding' behind someone else's forum. Here is the link to her wonderful forum and I see most of you have already posted there. Thank you!!

What Are Friends For?

Shirley, thank you for this forum, and I do appreciate this:

This is my own Forum that I have put up. It's not from some Magazine or Book, but, my own Thoughts and Comments.

This is much better to read than what you copy from others.

It is with regret that I missed this forum. I could have used it about the time it was going on.

Having read through all of the posts in here and all the things about friends and friendship warms the heart. So much love and understanding in this community.

May I state here, friends, when someone lashes out at another Adlandpro friend (even without calling names), PLEASE don't just jump on the bandwagon without asking questions. The person could be your best friend here or a strong supporter. Why do our 'friends' act so quickly to criticize each other? We should remain supportive and question 'what really happened' instead of taking one person's statement as being the true one. Remember there are always 2 sides to an issue.

In the last few weeks, there has been a rash of hurt feelings, sad posts, people threatening to leave because of, etc. If we don't know the REAL picture, we should stop and ask ourselves "Do I want to condemn someone if I don't even know who I am condemning?"

Shirley, I thank you again and I hope that before our friends start judging and condemning each other again, they will think about this forum and read through it again. There have been some profound statements made here and this is what Adlandpro is all about.

Some may disagree with me but I can attest to the fact that I have been one of those who was highly criticized and judged even when 'my friends' had no idea who they were referring to. It hurt deeply but I had to stand back and realize they were only being sympathetic. I am about to recover but there are scars and I learned who my true friends are.

This is not to 'stir up' something that has already been put behind me. It is to point out again that none of us are perfect. With so much hostility going on in this world, we need to support each other and spread LOVE AND HUGS!! Not HATRED!! If you just must send hate mail don't send it to me, from now on, it will be deleted and you take the chance of being deleted from my friend's list. I refuse to acknowledge anymore 'hate' mail and some even think I am scared of them!! My fur does not stand up often but when it does, those claws can dig deep. This, my dear friends, is answer to a THREAT I received and nothing to do with any of you who remain my true friends. Yep, them sound like fightin' words but they are not, I simply will not respond to anymore controversy.

Now that is off my heart and remains within what this forum is all about, Expressions of Nature.

Good Deal, Michael!! We always need a supply on hand for us 'sensitive' souls. I did get a real laugh when your message showed up in email last night.

This is an essay written many years ago and for those who have not read it, maybe you would like to and if you have perhaps just to read again might help. It gives me an extra lift to read at times.

Hi Sara,

I was thinking about why I connected with this story so well. When I was little, you know back in the days where we spent a Saturday afternoon putting Turtle Wax on our cars, my Mom use to express a similar way to overcome those hard times with people. She would show me a can of Turtle Wax and remind me to carry my invisible can with me and be sure and put it on thick. It actually worked!!! :)

I wanted to thank Georgios for the link to the Aboriginee music! I have always loved to listen to this music. It has a soul connection like none other!!!

Hi Sara:

I bought 3 cases. I was told by my Mom when I was young that my bladder was behind my eyeballs, because I tend to get my feelings hurt fairly easily!

So that cream is going to work great on me! LOL

I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune. Although I have not been the target of anyone yet, I have to apologize for past targeting. As you said, thoughts of sympathizing with one friend can ultimately hurt another. I've learned to sit back and pray all calms down, hoping I do not fuel any fires.

Daddy always told us to ignore others who try to hurt us. He said they do it to see us hurting, he also said it was no fun for them when we did not react and therefore they would stop tormenting us.

I hope I have never hurt your feelings in any way, if I have, I sincerely apologize!

WHew!! Sara,

I know how easily feelings can get hurt my misinterpretations. My husband and I used to do that all the time. We read into each others words, meaning that were not there. We had to learn to ask the other what they meant or confirm what we thought they meant. Boy did we speak an entirely different language!!

So happy to know I've not hurt you! Love your forum and glad to be back. At least as long as conputer behaves and cows give no trouble. Did you read about our new calf yet?

Valerie, how true this is -

You may not think there is much difference in Alabama and Kansas but it was like coming from different planets! Took years of learning and we still have our moments!!

I know I have a problem with communication. It just does not come out the way it was intended - many times!! Gets me in trouble all the time!!

Georgios, it is great to see you here!! Yes, it has been a long time. I checked yesterday and found your video, when I clicked on it and the music started playing, Wilson came over to see! We share an office but have our separate computers. He loves Aboriginee music and I have always been interested in the culture.

It was beautiful and I have saved in my favorites on YouTube.

Georgios, you are so creative and find all these wonderful things that most of us don't know where to search for them!! Thank you for your contributions in the community and this forum.
