I'm overwhelmed.

You are so very kind. You have done me proud. I hope that our friends enjoy looking at my home town. It is a very affluent area and very beautiful. Being near to London, but in the country, it attracts wealthy city workers, but, it does make it expensive for the less well-off folk. Like anywhere in the world affluence is judged by the average and so the less wealthy among us in society often feel neglected.

Even in this wealthy nation we have many below the poverty line. I ask everyone on this Sunday "to remember the poor of the world and ask God to give them the strength and health to prosper".

I am so lucky with where I live.

Thomas has done a great job here (the only thing is, the sun doesn't always shine and we are under grey clouds today but very mild for early winter).

Hello Roger!!  I really enjoyed reading the biography Thomas and you put together.  Your city sounds just wonderful. I visited the UK in 2001 and I am convinced Great Britain has the prettiest land on Earth!!
