Luka, my sweet young friend.  What you have been through in your short life is something most of can't imagine in a long life. (Like your OLD friend here!)

When first I met Luka in our poetry forum, through his wonderful Mother, I was enchanted.  Branka, you are to be honored in many ways for many things.  You have raised a fine young man and kept laughter in his heart through the worst of times.  Not many of us could do that and you deserve a crown.  But now you must share that crown with your terrific son.

Prince Luka

I have no crown to bring

No lovely song to sing

Just from the heart much love

Sent across the water on a dove

As you feel the misty warm air

Watch the clouds soft and fair

Let your heart feel the glow

Of Heaven all around you so.

You are loved and loved again

Even as your life only starts to begin.

Luka, I am so happy you liked it.  It is with honor that I wrote it for you.

Thank you for the graphic, I love the tree it reminds me of a book I had as a child and with I could find again.  It was about entering a tree such as this one and entering into a magical fairyland.

Congratulations on being selected as POTW. I enjoyed reading your biography. You have been through a lot in your young life. I like the fact you are upbeat and positive in nature.  Those qualities help you become a strong person and survivor.
