Hi Sara,
Whenever two of my favorite Friends are suffering through pain and distress, and especially when they are so far away, any words of my own seem inadequate to express what I am truly feeling. Therefore, I offer this short prayer on behalf of both Luella and Yourself, that the warmth of His Love will comfort and sustain you through all suffering and distress, and that you both may find rest and peace in the shelter of His Loving Arms.
O Lord, In this their time of need, strengthen and protect your children, Sara and Luella. By Your promises, O Lord, we know that You are our strength and our shield, our refuge and shelter in the storm, and always a very present help in times of trouble. We know, Father, that You are with us in all times and in all places, Your eyes search throughout the earth, that You might strengthen those whose hearts long for You. Though the body often grows weary and frail, our hope is in You, for You alone can renew our strength. May our Sisters Sara and Luella not suffer any fear or doubt, but instead may they find Comfort and Peace in the assurance that they are never truly alone, for You are with them, that You will strengthen them and help them, and that You will lift them up with Your righteous hand. Even though shadows of illness or concern may cover them, surround them with the comfort of Your strength and the Peace found only in the Power of Your Love. We ask these things in the Precious Name of Jesus. Amen.
