Yes, Phil, I know you were not with the DNC and I hope the RNC will be just as good.  I like to keep an open mind.

The sky was just so awesome and rarely do I get to film it at a safe distance as that night.

I will watch some of the RNC but I missed most today because of Gustav and staying up so late last night!!

Myrna it fascinates me also but only do I watch at a SAFE distance.  Usually it is popping all around us and I don't dare go outside especially with a camera.  This one was unusual because it was East of us and my stepson who lives in that direction said it got real scary around his place.
