Hi Jill, Hi Nick,
Wow, thanks for confirming my fears about poetry.com, last year when I started my poetry thread, I had a friend come in and tell me about poetry.com...well went there, browsed around, was not impressed by what I saw, the winners, and the entrants...my gut feeling told me 'No' and that I can do without it.
Now when I read all thats here, I'm not surprised.
I have had my work published and appreciated at 2 other sites where genuine good poets and poetry can be found. At one of them I get paid every month for the views I get for my page, and I've just crossed the 1000 mark ....so coool!!! At the other I'm listed among the 'best poets links' this site is purely for the love of poetry, and I'm enjoying it there.
Thank you for the heads up...hope Myles our brother wakes up from his disception before its too late.

I actually find these posts rather entertaining! LOL
Who in the heck would have thought that a Happy Fathers Day forum could turn into a poetry scam discussion. hehehe
I TOTALLY RESPECT all of your opinions, and I am glad to see you standing up so ferociously for what you believe in! I am more than impressed!!!!!!
NO apologies are needed, and hopefully many people were helped by the knowledge that you all have first hand.

If you just would like people to read your work and, just maybe the right person might read it and not pay a penny for anything. It is a place we all can meet and read each others work.
