I regret that your personal experience with the opportunity to share your talent with others and the chance of publishing your poem is something bad. Each person has their own choice to buy or submit their poem. There is no one twisting your arm making you purchase anything, it all voluntary. There are some negative opinions about any website, because of critics and that is part of the real world; however, not everyone is convince of poetry.com being a scam and make positive choice free from negativity. Even in the atom we have both nuetrons, negative charges and protons positive charges that make up all material matter. There are pros and cons one can argue, we all have the rights to our opinion. What does the Better Business Bureau say about the website. The facts are what is important not hearsay or one's personal opinion.

I am with you on this one.  This 'Poetry.com' is partly why I was banned from Shirley Carons forum.  Poetry.com is a major scam.  I have been there and done that.....

I donated money to Shirley for her trip to recieve her "Award".  It makes me angry that people still believe that they are "Renouned Authors" because of 'Poetry.com'.

Thank you for bringing this into the forums again....
