Hi Joyce, You are not alone. TV and radio have a way of questioning our sanity.

If we just stop and think about and follow our instinct we are most likely correct.

In this case, I really thought this was a great idea until I heard the information on the radio. That is why I like to listen to Public Radio. They dig into the facts and present the truth as their findings reveal.

TV has become white noise in the background and not stimulating or engaging at all. I still argue with the people on screen trying to tell me things that are obviously not true-so I guess that makes me a candidate for the funny farm:)

Hi Joyce, Good idea. I know soda has a drawing affect as we used it to remove stingers when I was a child. We made a paste of soda with water. I have no real proof it works but give it a try and come back and tell us your results. Soda is certainly less expensive.

But then I think you can trust your kidneys and liver also to be doing a good job of removing toxins. So maybe giving those two organs a boost with some natural foods should do the trick.

Hi Joyce, Glad someone else has heard a similar story. So that being the case, why are they still on the market. Not everyone listens to news or reads newspapers, except to check in on the outrageous and bizarre.

Our government is so good at protecting us from so much, but they let the American public purchase something like Detox patches.

DITTO - Mary! Our local news did a story on them with the same results-whatever toxins my body has seem to be working for me, so I think I'll leave them alone:)

Hi Mary,

I am familiar with this product. All I can say is don't waste your money. If you are looking for ways to detox we have wonderful products that help to do that. One thing that people should be doing regularly is cleansing their body and I don't mean on the outside. We come in contact with more chemicals on a daily basis then our grandparents did in their entire lifetime. One of the major reasons for disease is toxins in the body.

Hi Gabby, Glad you stopped in and read. Reach your own conclusions but I tend to believe the research I heard on the radio and do not need to buy and try for myself. I too will hold onto my $19.95.
